63-year-old Bryan Keith Cole, of Knoxville, was charged with two counts of aggravated burglary and two counts of vandalism after Knoxville Police Department officers quickly responded to a reported residential burglary in West Knoxville.
At around 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Century Ct on a report that an individual was attempting to break into houses. Officers determined that the suspect, later identified as Cole, had used a rock to shatter a door or window before entering two different residences on Century Ct.
While on Century Ct, officers received reports that the suspect was spotted in the backyard of homes in the Noelton Drive area. Officers quickly saturated that area, eventually finding Cole on Calumet Drive.
After being detained, Cole admitted that he had broken into one of the homes to steal items to support his drug habit.
Cole was previously arrested and charged for two counts of aggravated burglary for similar incidents that occurred in March on Fairmont Boulevard and Coker Avenue.
